My Training

I’m a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine from the State of New Mexico. I have a diploma from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I completed the 4-year Masters in Oriental Medicine at the Southwest Acupuncture College, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I also obtained a certification in Hari, a Japanese meridian therapy that primarily uses non-insertive acupuncture techniques, from the High Desert Hari Society.

In addition to this formal training, I have studied extensively in Functional Medicine, modern vitamins and supplements, personal training and physical fitness.

About Dr. Joshua Blankman

Though I was born at the ocean in Marin County, I grew up right here in Albuquerque, NM. I live with my wife, our 1 year old boy, and our lively dog, Lylah. I like hiking, biking, lifting weights, eating cheesecake, playing board games, brewing Kombucha, and spending time with my family.

My journey to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) arose from my own long-term struggles with language processing disabilities, depression, and migraines. TCM has played an essential and powerful role in my own journey to health and joyfulness.
